Job Title: Payroll Manager
Location: Epsom
Salary: £35,000-£45,000
Hours: Full-time, flexible working options available
Reports to: Head of Payroll and Reward

What You’ll Do:

Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for both salaried and variable-hour staff.
Process payroll changes, including new starters, leavers, overtime, absence deductions, and statutory payments.
Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations, handling RTI, FPS submissions, and end-of-year reporting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll queries, providing clear and timely support to Nursery Managers and employees.
Work closely with HR to ensure smooth payroll operations, attending monthly meetings and implementing process improvements.
Monitor payroll discrepancies, investigating and resolving any irregularities to ensure accuracy.
Provide monthly payroll reports for Directors and maintain meticulous payroll records.

What You Bring:

Expertise & Experience: Proven experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to numbers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all payroll processes.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate payroll information clearly to employees and senior leadership.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll challenges.
Collaborative Approach: Ability to work closely with HR, Finance, and Nursery Managers to streamline payroll operations.
