WHAT YOU WILL DO

Scope of the Job

As the Associate System Integration Test Engineer (m/f/d) at Fernride, you will test our entire teleoperation product before deployment to various customers. This includes the electric vehicle platform, sensor stack, connectivity, and teleoperator workstation. You will be responsible for preparing and executing test scenarios and collecting and analysing the generated test data. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Test Engineering and be vital to ensuring our current product version is working as specified. 

Tasks & Responsibilities 

•    Inspect components and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions.
•    Plan test campaigns for on-site test runs.
•    Conduct the test plans with our teleoperators and safety drivers.
•    Log and collect testing data.
•    Analyze test results, identify issues, and track root causes.
•    Suggest bug fixes and improvements.
•    Document both test results and technical issues.
•    Ensure all test procedures meet company and industry standards.

WHO YOU ARE

•    Good English language skills.
•    Basic German language skills.
•    Safety first attitude. 
•    Self-starter and technical enthusiast who is motivated to learn new skills on your own 
•    Relevant technical knowledge and computer skills.
•    Valid Driver's License (C, CE, or T).
•    Hands-on experience in truck driving or vehicle testing, or vehicle maintenance
•    Very well organized.
•    Analytical mindset.
•    Attention to detail.
•    Strong and efficient communication across different job roles (from Safety Drivers to Sensor Stack Engineers).
•    Strong team player and a high level of commitment.
