Scope of the Job

As Senior System Integration Engineer, you help to integrate all technical items into one complete teleoperation system. You work with system and software engineers, test drivers and test engineers to make sure that all bits and pieces of the system, hardware, software, sensors and processes come together and perform to expectations. You’ll be part of a highly motivated team of technical experts who share a profile of getting things done and a passion for solving complex problems in a distributed system. 

Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Efficient integration of a distributed system architecture by respecting domain-specific conditions (vehicle and safety specifics, connectivity and teleoperator desk configurations).
  • Develop SW components and tooling across the teleoperations and autonomy stack.
  • Rootcausing and triaging of system defects across the stack.
  • System integration testing and assessment.
  • Embrace a high standard of engineering craftsmanship across SW development, integration, deployment, and testing (documentation, mentoring of juniors, test-driven development).


  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
  • Significant experience developing and testing complex distributed systems in robotics, autonomy, transportation, embedded, datacom/telecom, or similar industries.
  • Strong C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with Linux development environments, device drivers and interfaces (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, I2C, general GPIO use).
  • Experience with system integration testing, including regression testing and test automation.
  • A talent for troubleshooting complex systems and root causing.
