What will you do 

As our Electric / Electronic Engineer - Working Student (f/d/m) you will provide support to our hardware engineering team as we embark on a journey to design, develop, construct, test, document, and collaborate on the prototyping and production of cutting-edge electrical equipment. Our projects include high-performance AI compute systems, high-speed networks, radar, lidar, sonar, vision and navigation technologies, communications systems, 4G, 5G, GNSS, and power generation solutions.

 

Leave your footprint by:

  • diving into the hands-on experience of designing and testing electrical systems for our fleet of autonomous driving trucks. Gain knowledge about industry standards and safety protocols. 
  • demonstrating your communication prowess by preparing presentations, reports, and insightful evaluations in collaboration with project managers and engineering experts.
  • enhancing your understanding of project requirements, timelines, and budgets to ensure the efficient, sustainable, and innovative completion of projects.

What you will bring to the team:

  • A fervent curiosity in electronics and a solid grasp of general engineering principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of analog, power, and digital electronics.
  • An understanding of the operational principles behind autonomous vehicle sensors, including lidar, radar, and vision sensors.
  • Basic knowledge in location-based services and sensors for both indoor and outdoor applications, such as differential GPS, time-of-flight, UWB, and sonar.
  • Practical experience with hardware components, including prototype assembly and soldering.
  • Familiarity with embedded hardware and software tools.
