Position Purpose


We are looking for an Accounting Associate who is motivated and driven individual who will contribute with energy to reach our team goals and be inspired to learn and grow in a company with a long  history and sustainable future. The position will be responsible for assisting in  accounting and controlling services, payments processing and Month end general close.
 

General responsibilities on the role

  • Review, administer and submit purchase invoices for approval
  • Update weekly cash flow and prepare weekly Payments runs
  • Verify and administer Expense claims and reconcile to General ledger
  • Prepare and maintain documents required for Business trips according to local and Group policies and procedures
  • Assist in reconciliation of credit card-processed transactions to General Ledger against  relevant documentation; Investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Assist in month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information
  • Assist with Year end audit process, Group and statutory reporting
  • Participate in improving the efficiency of financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance
  • Maintain “employee benefits” data and prepare reports for payroll purposes
  • Prepare and maintain ad hoc analysis and reports by request
  • Provide any other support to Finance and external auditors as required
  • Establish strong relationships with key colleagues outside the wider finance team

Experience/Qualifications we need for this role

  • A university degree in Accounting/ Finance
  • At least 1 year working experience
  • Positive attitude, work ethic and a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong personal values and integrity
  • Detail and goal oriented, with strong ability to  meet deadlines
  • Very good computer literacy - Oracle experience is an advantage
  • Very good English – written and spoken
