The Role / Position Overview

Alpha Grid is looking for a Digital Producer with experience producing bespoke digital articles, data-led stories, interactive web pages and microsites in the branded content space. You’ll be working closely with our executive producers, writers, digital designers and developers to carry a project from ideation through to completion.

This role is a fixed term position for a period of 5 months, ideally with a start of September start date. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the production process of digital assets from end to end, including for animated and multimedia articles, as well as animations.
  • Collaborating across internal divisions, including with FT project managers, developers, marketing teams and third-party vendors, as well as Alpha Grid developers, digital designers and writers, to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
  • Leading client-facing project calls to discuss the status of projects.
  • Reviewing, testing and proofreading content before sharing with clients.
  • Creating project schedules and budgets in collaboration with project coordinators.

Required Skills / Experience 

  • Ideally around four years’ previous experience working as a digital producer in an editorial and/or branded content environment.
  • Good technical skills in a range of web-based technologies, in order to communicate fluently with both digital designers and developers.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Bitbucket would be a strong advantage; HTML/CSS are welcomed.
  • The ability to quickly familiarise yourself with CMS restrictions, template layouts and digital asset requirements.
  • A basic understanding of tracking analytics in order to communicate with developers and performance marketing teams.
  • A familiarity with SEO techniques, to ensure positive search performance for bespoke content.
  • Day-to-day experience working with brand guidelines, wireframes and UX documents; G-Suite, Basecamp, Slack and other standard PM production tools.
  • Strong organisational skills, in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent soft skills and an ability to communicate with your team in a respectful and kind manner, particularly under stress.
  • Professional certification in UX design would also be an advantage, but not essential.
