The Role / Position Overview

This role is responsible for providing the first line of technical finance system support to the Global Finance team

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert to FT's finance systems
  • Provide effective and efficient reporting and operational system support to the Global Finance team and the business users
  • Handle end-to-end incident management; ensure that tickets are assessed, monitored, and resolved within the identified team’s standards
  • Follow defined escalation processes and control procedures in ticket resolution and vendor management
  • Collaborate with third party service providers to ensure that system changes are properly implemented as per the agreed requirement and modifications set by the company
  • Manages assigned finance systems projects that may include but not limited to coordination, testing, implementation and documentation of system changes and upgrades
  • Participate in and perform special tasks and projects that may be assigned from time to time
  • This role is mainly responsible for Finance System BAUs in line with the incoming Finance Systems Transformation within the FT.

Required Skills / Experience 

  • Graduate of any 4-year Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology or related
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience in using Oracle or other similar finance systems
