Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, pre-payment amortizations, accounting schedules, and other month-end related reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting.
  • Document, seek approval and coordinate with Financial Controllers/Accountants of other FT entities on intercompany receivables, payables and recharges
  • Prepare Transfer Pricing AFT- SOA/Invoice and submit to authorized approver/s
  • Review and produce financial data through data analysis to be used for departmental planning, forecasting, and management decision making.
  • Prepare financial reports, including ad hoc reports that require generation, preparation, and interpretation of data.
  • Assist the Assistant Finance Manager in completing and complying with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Assist FT Manila stakeholders with departmental operating expenses, expenditure coding, document preparation, and other accounting-related activities.
  • Maintain accounting controls by recommending new procedures or improvements to existing policies.
  • Prepare PEZA, BOI, ROHQ and other government reports and ensure compliance with regulations and timeline
  • Manage preparation and submission of BIR and other government related reports, documentation, and compliance.
  • Ensure completeness of Accounting records and document filing
  • Administer Accounting and reporting systems like Oracle, Insight, etc.
  • Keep up to date with latest Philippine Accounting Standards and tax rulings, and assist in solving issues with regard to Accounting and taxation matters
  • Perform and participate in tasks and special projects that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Experienced in working within Statutory or Management Accounting fields,
  • Knowledgeable of applicable BIR, SEC, & PEZA laws, codes and regulations,
  • Preferably knowledgeable in Oracle Essbase or Fusion,
  • Must have experience in using financial accounting software/systems and advanced Excel skills,
  • A certified public accountant (CPA) will be considered as an added advantage.
