The team is behind Abacus rapid settlement network and provides APIs, settlement and clearing, accounting, compliance, fiat gateways, payments rails and open finance infrastructure for the industry.
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer Lead to join our team at FDT. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading UX and UI design initiatives across all aspects of our digital services.
Responsibilities
- Lead UI/UX design projects from concept to completion
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process maps to illustrate design concepts
- Develop user interface designs that are visually attractive, easily navigable, and highly functional
- Design prototypes to test and validate user experience
- Analyze user feedback and test results to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with other teams such as developers and product managers to ensure smooth integration of design into the product
- Research industry trends and competitor products to ensure our product remains competitive
- Manage the design system, ensuring that all teams are following the same guidelines and standards
- Produce mock-ups for marketing material, such as webpages, banners, and brochures
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of UI/UX design experience and experience in leading a small team
- In-depth knowledge of design principles and user experience best practices
- Experience with prototyping tools, such as Figma and Adobe XD
- Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and feedback
- Knowledge of crypto technology and the cryptocurrency market
- Experience leading a small team and managing design projects
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- A portfolio that showcases previous design projects and demonstrates technical skills and creativity
Nice to have
- Experience in working in a crypto start-up or rapidly changing environment
- Experience or knowledge in crypto custody and trust
