Your Role

As an Financial Operations (FinOps) Manager (f/m/d) you identify patterns to optimize Forto’s processes and increase our margin - not only through diligent analyses of our partners’ receivables but also by your goal-oriented collaboration with other departments.
 

You will

  • Work in a cross-functional team related to financial controlling
  • Be responsible within the full process of controlling specific customer orders & partner invoices as well as verifying and monitoring revenues and COGS for our expansion setup
  • Support the team to improve our internal processes and elaborate new FinOps standards in our expansion countries 
  • Maintain high level of data quality in our Transport Management- & Accounting System
  • Work closely with different stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase our margin
  • Develop and drive measures & learnings to improve not only processes in our team but within the whole organization
  • Conduct data based quantitative analyses for regular management meetings

What you bring

  • A degree in a business, finance, accounting or logistics related field
  • 1-2 years of work experience in logistics and/or finance 
  • Proven track record of managing projects
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skill set combined with effective communication and social skills
  • Fluent in English; German language proficiency is a plus
  • Extremely diligent way of working and a high level of detail at your tasks
  • Hands-on personality and the ability to work in a fast-growing environment
