Overview of the role:

  • Responsible for the network management function at FreemarketFX, with day-to-day responsibility for managing the existing network of partner banks as well as growing that network to support the company’s geographic growth.
  • Management of network management team including training, development, performance measurement, and support processes.

Responsibilities will include:

Leading the team in delivering all aspects of network management, including:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with the lines of business (corporate banking, credit, FX, transaction banking) within each bank.
  • Accountable for completing all due diligence on banks’ capabilities (existing and future).
  • Ensure that FMFX have the correct number of partner banks to support existing and future growth.
  • Ensuring escalation of any matters that may impact FMFX operations, including production of incident reports on bank outages and operational failures.
  • Establishing and maintaining deep understanding of the banks’ capabilities in line with FMFX requirements.
  • Lead the RFP process with new agent banks and lead internal decision-making process on future banking partners.
  • Work closely with FMFX Operations and Product to ensure client requirements are sourced in a competitive manner.
  • Manage the communication channels internally and externally on any major incidents at our partner banks (incident management).
  • Organise and lead regular service meetings with each banking partner with a set agenda and agreed terms of reference, ensuring that any SLA’s in place with the banks are adhered to or breaches reported back at service meetings.
  • Cascade any market and regulatory change and how this will impact the FMFX business.
  • Coordinate all interaction between FMFX into banking partners across Technology, Operations and Compliance.

The person we are looking for:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a Network Management function, preferably at a large cash management bank.
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering high-quality services associated to time-critical client business.
  • Strong interpersonal communication & collaboration skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and risk identification skills.
  • A background of interaction and familiarity with Risk and Compliance protocols.
