Gaia's mission begins with the world’s first IVF insurance product that predicts fertility outcomes and insures against the risk of failure, a major moment for modernising the family planning process. Underpinning our product is a proprietary predictive technology that adds a layer of certainty to an expensive, complicated, desperate, opaque but resolutely hopeful space.

We have raised $30million in funding to date, our A round at the end of 2021 was led by Atomico (read why here). We are FCA regulated, and trade on the Lloyd's of London market as a cover holder of Beazley.

The role

We’re looking for someone to set up the payments infrastructure for Gaia from scratch! You will sit within the Finance Team and report directly to the Finance Director.

The IVF journey involves many payments, from package prices, medication costs, to additional treatments that patients weren’t even aware that they had to make. At Gaia, we remove that pain from the patients, and take care of it ourselves so that our members can just focus on their treatment. We also partner with multiple types of suppliers up and down the member journey.

You will be our first payments hire which means you will have the opportunity to design the payment process of an IVF journey. You will be responsible for all money movements in the company, whether that’s member’s premiums paid to us or buying a new desk for the office.

You will ensure that money flows seamlessly, in the most delightful way, at the cheapest cost and in a controlled manner.

You will work closely with the member operations team to integrate both member payments and clinic and medication payments so that we can deliver the best in class experience and product for our members.
