Gaia's mission begins with the world’s first IVF insurance product that predicts fertility outcomes and insures against the risk of failure, a major moment for modernising the family planning process. Underpinning our product is a proprietary predictive technology that adds a layer of certainty to an expensive, complicated, desperate, opaque but resolutely hopeful space.

We have raised $30million in funding to date, our A round at the end of 2021 was led by Atomico (read why here). We are FCA regulated, and trade on the Lloyd's of London market as a cover holder of Beazley.

We're about to release our new brand - a brave representation of our ambition, and the scale of the stigma and experience we are going to change. It's always an exciting time to join us but as a marketer, this moment is extra special.

As Gaia’s first Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of brave, creative and efficient cross-channel marketing campaigns (across the IVF space and beyond).

You’ll have your hands on the whole funnel but you’ll specifically focus on:

  • social media - paid and organic
  • partnerships
  • performance channel testing

Reporting into and supporting our VP Brand & Marketing, you'll join a small but brilliant team, with a shared passion for not only changing but building lives. You’ll work closely with our brand designer and content lead - developing creative briefs together & adopting a true ‘test and learn’ approach to ensure we’re continuously optimising creative to drive awareness and conversion.

This role would be perfect for someone who loves the creative piece but knows the analytics and data behind that is just as important, someone who can recognise opportunities and be confident in reporting back to all levels of the business. Providing strategic input and feedback to the team on relevant trends and insights to optimise our marketing spend and performance.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in an early stage/start-up, ideally consumer-facing, with a strong bias for action and rolled up sleeves!
  • Full stack marketing experience; social (paid and organic), partnerships and performance channel testing
  • Proven experience in delivering against and reporting on performance KPIs
  • A genuine love of data
  • High levels of empathy and customer obsession
  • Hands on digital marketing buying & modelling experience
  • Excited by creativity and its power to make change
  • Comfortable with taking calculated risks

Salary Banding: up to £40,000 + equity
