WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
At Getsafe, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Platform Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and enhancement of our data platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance to support our growing business needs.
YOUR MISSION:
As the Data Platform Lead, your mission is to oversee the strategic direction and execution of Getsafe's data platform initiatives. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and data professionals to architect, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure and tools that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of Getsafe's data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies and techniques to enhance Getsafe's data capabilities.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Hands-on experience with modern (self-service) BI tools, cloud databases, data pipeline automation and data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills - additional experience with Python and Spark is highly favored.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies and solving complex problems.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
