An incredibly fast-moving bunch of unconventional storytellers, social media superstars and slam-dunking creatives.e know all things internet culture and create scroll-stopping content people actually want to share. One thing we all have in common: we’re always on the lookout for attention.

So here’s the thing. We’re constantly on the hunt for like-minded talent – folks that live for inventing and executing awesome ideas. We need people who aren’t afraid to try new things, the ones who spot a new feature in the morning and have it implemented by the afternoon. We love passionate designers and video creators, disruptive artists and illustrators, and people who can shake up social media. The Action

As the People & Culture Director at GoSpooky, you will be responsible for further building the People & Culture foundations, plus setting and executing the global strategy. Your key focus areas will be L&D, D&I, performance, rewards and international growth. When it comes to internal growth, you will take your place as the inspiring leader of the People & Culture team, further developing them and supporting them in their professional journeys. Through offering the right training and coaching programs, you will help our Spookies to grow and our leaders to develop their people and manage performance. You will be a culture ambassador, championing our values and translating them into a crystal clear communication plan and reflecting them in all People & Culture processes and initiatives. 

 

You as People & Culture Director...

  • Have 8+ years of international experience preferably in an agency or scale-up environment. 
  • Are a seasoned hands-on people leader and a content expert within the HR field. You have experience in several key areas of HR and you are familiar with Dutch labour law. 
  • Have experience in a broad people leadership role, managing and developing a team, leveraging their individual strengths to success.
  • Are highly connected and value building meaningful professional relationships.
  • Are able to confidently lead, inspire, motivate and influence.
  • Like to stay up-to-date with trends and implement new learnings where possible.
  • Are able to simplify complex people matters, and translate business objectives into an actionable People & Culture agenda. 
  • Are business-savvy and can act as a trusted strategic advisor to the management team and work closely with GoSpooky founders to drive the People & Culture agenda.
