About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) with experience in Smart Building solutions and B2B facing services who will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle. You live and breathe evidence-based decision making, know how to work with a variety of stakeholders and balance their needs, have a transparent and collaborative communication style, an entrepreneurial mindset and you act like an owner. Ownership-as-a-Service is a key component of our value chain and smart building strategy. With a clear strategy in place, the senior product manager will be key to driving this area of the business forward, enabling the smooth operations of our (and other) buildings and delivering value to the asset holders.
What you'll be doing:
- You define strategic and operational product roadmap for our Ownership-as-a-Service portfolio in coordination with other teams in the area
- You establish a clear view of B2B customer needs, simplifying complex issues and developing appropriate solutions through data and information provided by our smart buildings. Next to this, you oversee the analysis of customer requirements to define product strategy and identify product opportunities to expand market share
- You manage the lifecycle of new product and service development through launch - opportunity assessment, requirements definition, pricing, competitive analysis, development, and product launch and maintain a constant focus on product quality, cost and improvement
- You write Product Requirement Documents that clearly define what is needed to create a competitive offering
- You develop, implement, and measure key product metrics to inform decision-making and ensure product success.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Engineering, Economics or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of product management experience, preferably with building or property management software, in the real estate environment, or comparable B2B areas
- Familiarity with green building practices and sustainability principles.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- German and English language skills a must
- Strong product management skills to execute product or services initiatives, moving them from inception to launch to life-cycle management
- Strong analytical abilities, with experience interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable strategies
