Senior Store Designer for the Global Real Estate team

As we continue to expand our retail presence worldwide, we are looking for a Global Retail Store Designer to join our team and help us shape the future of our in-store customer experiences.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
As a Global Retail Store Designer at Gymshark, you will play a pivotal role in creating dynamic and immersive retail spaces that embody the Gymshark brand, engage customers, and drive sales. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, and Marketing, to ensure that Gymshark retail stores provide a memorable and on-brand shopping experience.
Responsible for:
- Store Design and Layout: Develop innovative and on-brand store designs and layouts for Gymshark retail locations across the globe. Ensure that these designs maximize space, optimize traffic flow, and enhance the customer experience.
- Materials and Fixtures: Source, specify, and implement appropriate materials and fixtures to create visually appealing and functional retail environments.
- Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to develop in-store displays, signage, and merchandising concepts that highlight Gymshark products and drive sales.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain strict adherence to Gymshark's brand guidelines, ensuring that the in-store experience aligns with our brand identity.
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable and eco-friendly design elements wherever possible to align with Gymshark's commitment to environmental responsibility.
- Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets effectively, seeking cost-effective solutions and ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on retail design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continually enhance Gymshark's retail experience.
- Project Management: Oversee store design projects from conception to completion, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Who you are :
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail store design and space planning, preferably with a focus on global store layouts.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of materials, fixtures, and retail design trends.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for fitness and an understanding of Gymshark's brand and values is a plus.
