OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Product Buying Executive, you will drive the range planning process across the first four gates of the critical path for an assigned product category.

You will ensure data excellence, delivering in full and on time, and will be accountable for creating quality products that surprise and delight our customers.

Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings, ensuring every detail meets our high standards and exceeds customer expectations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Being the expert in your trade category, conducting analyses for strategic growth and profitability.
  • Performing competitor analysis, identifying key trends to inform current and future assortments.
  • Developing and managing a trade category range plan, including product attributes and monthly line locks.
  • Supporting seasonal strategy implementation, facilitating cross-functional discussions for execution.
  • Overseeing product creation to ensure quality prototypes and samples for range reviews.
  • Managing the sample library for the trade category and relevant competitor samples.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc analyses to drive strategic growth for the trade category.
  • Creating compelling product presentations with clear takeaways for cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential skills:

  • Thrive in managing and analysing data in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about understanding consumers and driving business success with strong commercial acumen.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a global organisation and across diverse consumer categories.
  • Naturally curious and enthusiastic about problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Excel.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
