We are looking for an experienced Senior People Partner in EMEA to support HiveMQ in its next phase of growth. As our People Function is evolving, this is a unique opportunity to help shape how we partner with our leaders, managers and employees across our business. Your goal is to translate the needs and strategies of our business into well-informed talent decisions. Whether you are implementing a new people process, coaching a leader to support their team, or sharing the latest quarterly People metrics, you know that the core of your role is to maximize outcomes for our people in order to drive business performance at HiveMQ.

Your current tasks with the opportunity to grow – What will your life at HiveMQ look like?
In your everyday work, you have a diverse range of tasks with lots of space for development:

  • Inform and execute the People Strategy in close conjunction with our Head of People Partner and with the support of the wider People Business team.
  • Support leaders with engagement survey results and support overall action planning.
  • Be a strategic advisor and consultant for our business leaders and talent.
  • Work across key people projects including workforce planning, talent development, succession planning and performance reviews.
  • Be a role model and support the employee experience team across topics such as Learning & Development, employer branding, onboarding, well-being and other relevant topics.
  • Be a strong advocate for creating data-led decision-making which helps the business to make strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with the Head of People Partnering on developing best-in-class programmes around Performance and Compensation reviews and career progression frameworks.
  • Take a supporting role in co-defining, implementing and iterating on tailored People strategies to support the overall business strategy and success.
  • Be a role model for the people team and help coach other team members and peers

Your Profile – What do you need to fit in? 

  • 8+ years experience as a People/HR Business Partner or Talent Advisor.
  • Proven track record of implementing impactful people strategies, with strong change management principles.
  • Phenomenal business acumen, you can recite your BU’s key metrics and actively understand the strategy.
  • A complete and thorough understanding of all people projects including reward & recognition, career development & personal growth, talent management and retention, workforce management, succession planning and employee relations.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup/scaleup tech environment, you thrive in this type of environment.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, project management and influencing skills.
  • Business-oriented, possess a hunger to learn and know how to build trust with your diverse group of business partners and people operations peers.
  • Open, empathic and team-oriented personality and strong, professional interpersonal communication skills and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Knowledge of German labor laws is a big plus - our HQ is located in Germany.
