Strategic Projects Director

Our Global Operations and Logistics teams are comprised of Fulfilment Operations, Order Operations, Logistics, IT and Procurement . The team is growing, remote and globally distributed.

Reporting directly into the Chief Product Officer you’ll be instrumental in providing strategic ‘change-the-business’ project directions within our Global Operations functions. As Head of Strategic Projects you will be responsible for designing and shaping the strategic objectives of core teams, developing operational plans and overseeing their successful implementation.

What you need to succeed

• Earned your stripes: You have been an integral leader of a Strategic Project teams or Program Management teams to great results.
• Walked the walk: You have at least 3+ years of strategic consulting and first hand experience in either a Product, Business Operations or Analytical capacity.
• Willing to get your hands dirty: You're willing and able to step in and execute in order to see your vision come to fruition.
• Speak the product language: You have a background in mature tech-enabled businesses and are used to operating in a software/product-led environment.
• Exposure to global logistics: You’re familiar working with centres of excellence in global logistics and fulfilment operations
• Leverage supplier networks: You have demonstrated ability to engage with and optimise supplier networks to ensure seamless collaboration and efficiency.
• You’re eloquent: You demonstrate great presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English. You can own the room, but know when not to.
• Teamwork: You have experience building strong working relationships with both senior leaders and ICs cross functionally.
• Target Setting: You have a track record of setting ambitious targets, short and long term, and achieving them.
• Reporting: You know which metrics matter, you track them diligently, and can make decisions appropriately in accordance with them.

Bonus Experience

• Previous experience executing on a business growth success story.
• Qualification or a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathmatics.
