Reporting directly into the VP Operations you’ll be instrumental in supporting with projects across all areas of the business. As a Business Operations Manager you will be operations focused and responsible for analysing and improving upon business processes to support the acceleration of Hofy’s growth and development.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives, improve workflows, and ensure operational excellence across all areas of the business.

The Person:

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, and an executor with a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record of driving operational efficiency. You will be:

  • Analytical: You are confident analysing and improving upon business processes that accelerate sales and product development.
  • Optimiser: You proactively identifying opportunities for Hofy to improve operations, automate and improve all aspects of the business, from sales to fulfilment.
  • Owner executer: You can executive and deliver on special projects often within quick time-frames and under pressure.
  • Data driven: You're confident with numbers, building models and dashboards to report to wider core business functions.
  • Stakeholder Management: You're excellent at stakeholder management, a strong communicator, both internally and with external parties.
  • Outcome orientated: You have no aversion to 'rolling up your sleeves' and solving immediate business problems.
  • Proactive and structured: Proactively investigating and tackling opportunities and threats to the operating model and working to scope impacts of business decisions

What you need to succeed:

  • Walked the walk: You have at least 3+ years experience in a high growth or startup environment.
  • Seen great: You’ve had demonstrable success in undertaking business initiatives with limited direction to achieve positive business impacts.
  • Cross-functional exposure: You have experience collaborating successfully with multiple core business functions such as sales, product, legal and finance. You have proven experience of preSenting to and engaging senior stakeholders to change the way that things work.
  • Excellent communicator: You have exceptional written and verbal English and can document processes and projects, as well as present them to diverse teams to drive employee ownership and engagement.
  • Strategic insight: You’re able to think strategically. You’ve set targets and managed teams to achieve them.
