We are looking for someone to join our team and bring a fresh, creative approach to our communications. You will help us to share our success stories and enhance our global reputation.

In this challenging role you will execute our communications strategy. You’ll develop and deliver marketing campaigns that reflect our strategic goals, with a focus on brand marketing, employer brand and, internally, change management. You will plan, write and edit content for everything from intranet articles, press releases, social media posts, podcasts, thought-leadership articles and brochures to magazine feature articles, award entries and web pages. Additionally, you will be tasked with leading our PR activities, cultivating relationships to maximise our media presence, while leading our approach to reputation management.

This role is based at our Howbery Park campus in Oxfordshire, UK and has an opportunity to work under our hybrid policy. While this is a full-time role, helping our people achieve a healthy work-life balance is important to us, and we would be happy to explore flexible working and job share arrangements, including part-time working. Key qualifications and skills

We are looking for someone who is organised and proactive with excellent communication skills.  You will be skilled at absorbing information and be able to spot a news angle. You will work with our subject matter experts to translate often complex technical topics in to clear, persuasive and compelling content, and be able to build effective relationships across the business.

Applicants should possess a degree or equivalent in a relevant area of science/engineering, marketing, communication, or journalism. A passion for writing and a demonstrated history in media relations or marketing communications/copywriting would be advantageous, especially if gained in a technical or research environment.
