Your Role: Finance Accountant
We’re looking for a Finance Accountant to join our Madrid team and support the financial goals of the business while contributing to our growth in the region. You’ll manage the day-to-day financial operations in Spain and collaborate closely with our global finance team in Dubai.
What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Compliance (GAAP):
- 📌 Manage and oversee daily and monthly accounting processes.
- 📌 Maintain and analyze the Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts.
- 📌 Handle accounts payable and receivable (execution and supervision).
- 📌 Prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliations.
- 📌 Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Financial Management & Reporting:
- 📊 Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations.
- 📊 Analyze industry trends to assess the company’s financial health.
- 📊 Review and improve financial policies and procedures within the company.
- 📊 Support the preparation of budgets and track variances.
- 📊 Document the company’s financial status, forecasts, and deviation analyses.
- Process Optimization:
- 🚀 Recommend and implement improvements in financial systems and internal controls.
- 🚀 Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For: Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar (ACCA certification is a plus).
- Experience: 3-5 years in similar roles, preferably in startups or with international exposure.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling), Tableau, and experience with Power BI is essential.
- Languages: Fluent English (C1 level).
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proactive, autonomous, and results-driven.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
