Marketing Operations Analyst

 

Job Overview 

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Marketing Operations Analyst to join our dynamic B2B fintech team. The ideal candidate will provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize the marketing acquisition mix, including paid channels like LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads, while also supporting outbound marketing efforts to build a robust and high-quality sales pipeline. This role is critical in bridging data-driven marketing strategies with outbound initiatives to ensure alignment with overall business goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Acquisition Optimization 

  • Conduct regular ROI and performance analyses of campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting optimization strategies. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies, ensuring the marketing approach remains innovative and competitive. 

Outbound Marketing and Sales Pipeline Support 

  • Collaborate with the outbound manager to create strategies that target ideal customer profiles (ICPs) effectively. 
  • Design, test and execute outbound campaigns (email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, etc.) to generate qualified leads for the sales team. 
  • Evaluate and refine outbound processes to improve conversion rates and pipeline quality. 
  • Work closely with sales to ensure smooth handoffs and provide feedback loops on lead quality and campaign effectiveness. 

HubSpot Administration and Segmentation 

  • Act as the HubSpot administrator, managing workflows, automation, and CRM integrations. 
  • Master the segmentation of audiences within HubSpot to ensure campaigns are highly targeted and relevant. 
  • Monitor the health and performance of the HubSpot platform, making recommendations for system improvements and updates. 
  • Train and support team members on HubSpot best practices to maximize adoption and efficiency. 

Data Analysis and Reporting 

  • Develop dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, pipeline health, and other key metrics. 
  • Present data-driven recommendations to the Head of Marketing Operations and broader team on a regular basis. 
  • Provide insights on customer behavior, channel performance, and opportunities for growth through advanced data analysis. 

Collaboration and Communication 

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive strategies and campaigns. 
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing operations and sales teams to align goals and address gaps in the pipeline. 
  • Support the Head of Marketing Operations in identifying tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance marketing efficiency. 

 

Qualifications 

Education and Experience 

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within a B2B environment (includes internships and apprenticeships) 
  • Full Professional English  
  • Professional working French 

Skills and Competencies 

  • Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads). 
  • Expertise in HubSpot administration (or similar marketing automation tool), including workflows, and audience segmentation. 
  • Familiarity with outbound marketing tools (e.g., Lemlist, Outreach, SalesLoft, Reply.io) and strategies. 
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, and CRM systems. 
  • Efficient communicator with a talent for delivering concise, actionable insights from complex data. 

Bonus Skills 

  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies and principles. 
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and tools. 
  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., SQL) for advanced data analysis.
