As a Procurement Manager at IMC, you will not only be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT procurement processes but also for leading and developing a team of 2 procurement professionals. You will be joining a dynamic team, collaborating closely with the IT Operations, Trading Infrastructure, Trading, and Finance teams to support our fast-paced and innovative trading environment.

 

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective IT procurement strategies and policies aligned with the company’s goals and budget.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key IT vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the company.
  • Monitor and manage IT procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with financial plans, while identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the financial services or high-frequency trading sector.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing IT contracts and suppliers, with an in-depth understanding of IT products, services, and market trends.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, coupled with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools, e.g., Novatus, Workday, Qlik, Rubik.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
