We are looking for a full-stack engineer to develop and expand our internal tools and processing pipelines.
Intelligencia’s internal tools serve a team of +30 - soon to grow further - scientists, in their goal to interpret and provide the latest clinical development insights which are then used by our DS teams and Intelligencia users.
In this role, you will help build web applications and services using modern web technologies, coordinate with a cross-functional team of Engineers and domain experts to deploy new features, work with our Product team to materialize new ideas into value-adding functions, and make key decisions that will shape our application architecture.

- Work with the Product team to develop new features for Intelligencia’s internal applications
- Design and build performant micro-services and frontend-facing APIs
- Build reusable code and libraries
- Optimize application for speed, and scalability
- Develop and ensure automated test coverage
- Use latest data and cloud infrastructure (airflow, google cloud, kubernetes)
- Work as part of a highly motivated team that believes in the product that they are building
- Collaborate with other team members, including product managers, designers, biologists and senior stakeholders
What you’ll bring to the team
- At least 3 years of experience in full-stack software development
- Hands-on experience in the React ecosystem and application state management tools and libraries (preferably Redux)
- Good understanding of web standards and protocols (incl. HTTP, REST, OAuth 2.0, GraphQL)
- Programming in Python 3
- Experience in at least 1 major Python web framework, Django preferred
- Database modeling and query optimization, preferably using PostgreSQL
- Experience with FE and BE testing frameworks
- Experience in software engineering standard approaches for testability, maintainability and scalability
- Familiarity with software development practices, e.g. code reviews, pair-programming
