About the Role
To expand our team in Berlin, we are looking for a:
Repertoire & Contract Manager (m/f/d)
A 2-year fixed-term contract with the option to transition to a permanent contract.

- Learn and understand repertoire rules for musical catalogues
- Getting your head around challenging correlations and systems
- Driving change and delivering creative solutions to improve customer service
- Communicating with Rights Holders, customers, technical data providers, internal IT and neighbouring tech teams; all on an international level
- Organising, coordinating, and developing technical and business processes and ensuring quality management
- Preparing statistics and reports for internal and external use
- Working on international and complex projects
Key Responsibilities:
As a first point of contact for internal and external customers, our team Repertoire & Contracts are responsible for organising, coordinating, administrating, and processing all necessary activities concerning the operational management of license contracts and administered repertoires.
This involves not only inserting all necessary information and data in our systems but also understand the repertoire and contract setup system in detail to enable successful and efficient Licensing.
The role will also entail elements of dispute management, which involves deep analysis on how musical works are licensed across a broad range of DSPs, working with other licensors to reduce disputes occurring and ensuring our own claiming standards are kept to high standards. Therefore, a broad communication with Licensors as well as neighbouring internal teams, such as licensing, processing or the IT Department is indispensable.
Databases, contract templates, analysing and licensing tools shape our daily business. With the intention of shaping the future of the music industry and being the number one player in the market of online music licensing we are constantly looking to improve ourselves and collaborate with others in international projects to standardize and optimise the value chain of music copyright.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- We are looking for a well-organized, fast learner with an analytical mind
- Experience in Online licencing or processing from a Societies and/or a publisher’s perspective is a plus
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Interest in technical topics and database work
- Attention to detail
- Ability to capture complex technical and legal issues and general interest in license and contract management
- Intercultural understanding and enthusiasm in communicating
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Experience with SQL and XML
- Knowledge of the music industry and media licensing business
Preferred qualifications:
- Music Business or General Business qualification
- IT and/or Data Management qualification
- Knowledge of YouTube CMS and other relevant Music metadata platforms
