The Mission:
you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Isar Aerospace's critical assets, infrastructure, and information systems. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect our space missions, intellectual property, and sensitive data.
More specifically you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of security architecture for Isar Aerospace's systems, networks, and applications
- Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing the security posture of various technologies
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to effectively address and mitigate security incidents
- Stay current on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, utilizing threat intelligence to proactively enhance our security defenses
- Monitor and analyze security events from various tools, identifying potential security incidents and responding to alerts
- Collaborate with other IT and engineering teams to test and implement security measures and controls
- Conduct risk assessments and work with stakeholders to implement measures to mitigate identified risks
- Participate in security audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for Isar Aerospace employees to promote a security-conscious culture
- Collaborate with HR to ensure security policies and practices are communicated effectively
Who you are and what you have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security roles.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with security architecture design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and systems architecture.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
