The Mission:

you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Isar Aerospace's critical assets, infrastructure, and information systems. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect our space missions, intellectual property, and sensitive data.

More specifically you will: 

  • Lead the design and implementation of security architecture for Isar Aerospace's systems, networks, and applications
  • Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing the security posture of various technologies
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans to effectively address and mitigate security incidents
  • Stay current on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, utilizing threat intelligence to proactively enhance our security defenses
  • Monitor and analyze security events from various tools, identifying potential security incidents and responding to alerts
  • Collaborate with other IT and engineering teams to test and implement security measures and controls
  • Conduct risk assessments and work with stakeholders to implement measures to mitigate identified risks
  • Participate in security audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for Isar Aerospace employees to promote a security-conscious culture
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure security policies and practices are communicated effectively

Who you are and what you have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with security architecture design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
