Your Mission

Our Mission at Isar Aerospace is to lower the entry barrier to space to enable the use of space technology for the good of humanity. In the strategy department we are key contributors to the company’s steering by providing key insights and critical information that is guiding top management decisions.

More specifically, you will:

  • Conduct in depth market research of the space launch service market as well as adjacent markets. Develop an understanding for the market structure, critical market trends, and the competitive environment
  • Create formats that enable the management team to access the results of such research regularly in order to support critical decision-making processes. Prepare workshops that present the key findings to a senior management audience
  • Drive the implementation of processes that allow a permanent observation of the market
  • Support in aligning the central company strategy across different departments and countries
  • Draft documents for the exchange with various external stakeholders such as investors, politicians or suppliers
  • In this role you will directly work with the VP Strategy and work together building up the Strategy Department at Isar Aerospace

Who you are and what you have

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, management, economics, engineering or related field
  • Some experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g. Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, Start-up, Investment Banking) 
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant internships, working student roles in market research or data analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and data analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and databases
  • A strong problem-solving attitude and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
