The Jonsson Workwear Technology Team is responsible for ensuring effective delivery of IT hardware, software, and networking of computers within the organisation. They work closely alongside various teams within the business to ensure service excellence and technological functionality.
The Reports Developer role forms part of the Technology team and will be responsible for the development and support of all PowerBI and Microsoft Reporting Services-based reporting services deployed throughout the organisation.
The key responsibilities for the role include:
- Provide first line technical support for all production PowerBI and SSRS reporting services. This will include services deployed on-premise and in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Review, maintain, and improve the enterprise reporting architecture. This will include maintaining the underlying SSIS datasets, data modeling and design, SQL development, and database administration.
- Work closely with the IT Team and business to design and develop reports using PowerBI and SSRS to meet the operational demands of the organisation.
- Follow standards and procedures to the SDLC process to ensure compliance to secure development best-practice and audit requirements.
- Maintain web application source code using standard management and deployment processes on Jonsson’s Azure DevOps platform.
- Document functional and technical design and architecture of existing and new developments.
- Collaborate with external outsource vendors to deliver reporting and web application development projects.
The experience we’re looking for:
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise reporting solutions in the Manufacturing or Finance sector.
- Expert knowledge and experience working with the following development toolsets:
- PowerBI
- Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
- Microsoft SQL and other relational database technology platforms
- Expert experience performing reporting / data warehouse architecture design.
- Working experience developing and supporting SharePoint and PowerApps solutions will be an added advantage.
- Microsoft or other reports development certification will be an added advantage.
