About the role:

In this role you will be in charge of defining the vendor experience for every jumia segment of sellers, define with product team the best tools to develop to increase each seller segment performance and engagement with jumia’s products and services.



  • Redefine the different segments of sellers operating on Jumia. Official stores, Short tail sellers, ODS Big chains, etc. Focusing on Official Stores and ODS the first year
  • Create and manage the environments for all segments of merchants (UX consumer and UX seller)
  • Develop a clear journey for each segment within Jumia from acquisition to growth, with relevant stakeholders
  • Works with product team on developing all needed features to create the right experience for each segment of sellers within Jumia
  • Develop the management toolkit needed for each of the seller segments to make them grow autonomously (processes, team set up, communication channels, etc.)
  • Grow the number of sellers, their assortment and their sales within each defined segment

  • Traffic on each dedicated universe
  • Assortment within each segment
  • # of sellers within each segment
  • Sales within each segment
  • VNPS per segment
  • NPS per segment


Required Skills & Qualifications  

  • Marketing background (Specially CRM and segmentation) 
  • Ecommerce experience 2 years +
  • Great analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Project management skills 
  • Good understanding of technologies
