Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership around best practices and new/emerging concepts in the area of Analytics Platforms & MarTech
  • Lead the tech & tracking relationship with all advertising platforms 
  • Drive the definition and implementation of web & app tracking tools such as Adjust, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Responsible for the integrity and quality of web & app tracking  to measure performance across Jumia Group.
  • Support online marketing teams by development of accurate dashboards with a unified attribution across platforms 
  • Maintenance of Facebook and Google SDK/Pixel and CAPI signals 
  • Ensure proper alignment between Marketing, Product and BI the correct setup and tracking of ads performance
  • Support online marketing team by planning, developing and maintaining tools for the purpose of the automation of work routine.
  • Implementation of web & app tracking tools such as Adjust, Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager to measure performance of online marketing.
  • Be the technical go to person in the online marketing team and proactively identify issues and recommend resolutions.

 

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in online business or online marketing.
  • 2 - 5 years experience in analytics implementation and development
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Solid knowledge of Facebook, Google Pixel & SDK setup
  • Experience with MMPs integrations and tracking
  • Clear understanding of different attribution models 
  • Knowledge of upcoming changes in user privacy and impact on tracking for advertisers   
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in Javascript, Python, Sql & BigQuery is a strong plus.
