The role we offer: Senior FP&A Specialist - Logistics
 
Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Jumia Logistic metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials
  • Oversee overall financial activities for the Logistics arm of Jumia
  • Communicates data (both written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner
  • Earn trust of your business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions driving business improvements and cost reductions
  • Identifies risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate gaps
  • Supervise and own all Month-end procedures related to Logistics including accruals and variance analysis between scenarios (actuals, Budget, Forecast...)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
  • Solid work experience in finance
  • Experience in 3PLs and/or domestic transportation and/or warehouse fulfilment preferable
  • Manage and prioritize workload and work towards multiple deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English
