What you will be doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of inbound associates.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and updates.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inbound goods.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.
  • Monitor and manage daily inbound workflow, adjusting resources as necessary to meet operational targets.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Outbound and Inventory, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inbound shipments.
  • Implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing or logistics and Supply Chain environment at least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, diagnose problems and identify and lead the appropriate solutions
  • Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously - results orientation - while retaining all information
  • Bias for action, strong work ethic and desire to achieve excellence
  • English proficiency
