About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Catalog Data Analyst to join our fast-paced central commercial team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing catalog data, automating processes, and driving improvements that directly contribute to strategic projects, product decision-making, and the operational management of our catalog and content department. Your insights will play a critical role in improving catalog data quality and supporting business growth across key markets.
What you will be doing:
- Extract, transform, and analyze catalog data from the Data lake to uncover trends and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and increase the efficiency of local teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Content, Data Science, Business) to ensure catalog data aligns with business goals and operational needs.
- Present insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive product and strategic decision-making.
What we are looking for:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python with proven experience developing data-driven solutions.
- Experience working with data pipelines and basic knowledge of data engineering concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Background in retail or e-commerce, particularly in catalog data analysis and management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn) to create insightful reports.
