About the role:
In conjunction with the Head of HR, work alongside stakeholders to implement and embed the strategic HR agenda for the business area of responsibility. To provide HR expertise to the organisation and address all associated people matters in accordance with best practice, internal compliance and legal requirements.
What you will do:
- Develop strong working relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and priorities.
- Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Supervise internal HR systems and workflows and all work related to workforce planning
- Resolve any employees’ queries, such as those related to issues like payroll processing and labor regulations
- Maintain and keep to date the electronic HR database timely and accurately; ensure data inputted in the HR system is accurate and compliant with internal requirements
- Generate reports and analytics, which are essential for efficient decision-making.
- Assist to process monthly payroll including entry of new employees, relevant salary amendments, pension scheme contributions, overtime, expenses claims, etc.
- Assist with the performance management process for assigned business units, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and talent development initiatives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, and develop and implement strategies to drive a positive employee experience.
- Support managers in the effective staffing of their teams ensuring inclusivity in how we recruit, how we develop and who we promote
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and promote a culture of fairness and respect.
- Lead or support HR projects and initiatives, such as organizational restructuring, workforce planning and employee engagement surveys.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance HR programs and processes.
- Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and drive innovation in HR practices.

Relevant Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic HR role with senior management teams in a generalist HR role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Demonstrable and up-to-date technical knowledge and best practice in the key areas of Employment Law, Employee Relations, Resourcing and Talent Management, Learning & Development, Reward, Performance Management and Organisation Development.
- Experience of successfully leading a range of HR initiatives in support of a wider HR strategy.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, to create macros, pivot tables, analytical capabilities, and workbooks.
- Ability to analyse a range of data, including statistical information interpreting and bringing insight to a range of business and organisational issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Previous experience of working in a customer-focused environment, demonstrating empathy.
