Job Overview:

The Content Data Management Associate role is crucial in Jumia's product catalog management by overseeing end-to-end SKU, Brand, and Attribute creation. Additionally, the role manages the core quality control configurations that dictate Jumia's catalog experience and ensures adherence to regulatory and industry standards. In relation to the content roadmap, you will provide support in stabilizing our catalog management platforms, enriching attributes, improving attribute taxonomy and rules, and aligning configurations, and UCR categories between the seller center and vendor center. The goal is to reduce the global product broadcast fail rate of 12% attributed to category disparities between configurations.

  • Core Tasks / Routines  Managed 

    • Category Management relating to Activation, Deactivation, Optimization (Category Renaming, Duplicate Category Cleanup, and Category Alias Renaming), Category Visibility on Seller Center, and Bulk Product Recategorization is managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Management of Product Creation and Brand Creation execution communication/feedback to sellers for all Catalog related actions is managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Local Bulk Product Migration for core actions like platform migrations from Seller Center to BOB, BOB to Seller Center, Seller Center to Vendor Center, and the management of all Local Actions for the upcoming Central Migration from Seller Center to Vendor Center that will kick off in Q4 will be managed by the Data Management Associate

    • All Seller Level restrictions/blocks/configurations for Seller Center and Vendor Center relating but not limited to Brand Authorization, Brand Restriction, Keyword Blacklist, Keyword Whitelist, and Seller Auto/Full QC is managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Attribute Management relating to Attribute Cleanup, Bulk Attribute Update, Attribute Visibility, and Attribute Optimization across all Attribute Sets in all categories in managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Filter management, creation, visibility, and optimization on backend and frontend platforms 

    • The minimum and maximum scores for all attributes and fields for the Content Score Configuration across all categories are defined and set by the Quality Control Associate

    • Migration of the set scores across all categories for the configuration of Seller Score to the required template to be imported on Seller Center is managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Bulk Update for Product Warranty Duration, Cover, Type, and Address across Warranty products and categories for Official Store and Jumia Express SKUs is managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Management of all Product Tags and Badge related creation requests, tests, prioritization, and bulk updates for Weekly Commercial Plans and all Campaigns is managed by the Data Management Associate

    • Daily/Weekly Reports across all tasks, projects, and routines for visibility to all internal stakeholders are handled by the Data Management and Quality Control Associate

    • Sync issues resolution and product visibility management 

    • Official store catalogue management E2E
