The inbound manager directs the inbound supervisors in the coordination of team activities concerning the counting, processing, inspecting, replenishing and locating of inbound merchandise
Key Responsibilities
Assist inbound supervisors with identifying work procedures in a priority manner and expedite workflow.
Ability to prioritize workflow and communicate priorities effectively with inbound supervisors and, thereby, inbound officers.
Identify workload of all given areas and shift personnel to areas where additional personnel are needed.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Prepare and verify received items documents
Examine work for exactness, neatness, item quality & condition and conformance to policies and procedures.
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
Maintain harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Maintain, manage and update inbounded items.
Monitor inbound supervisors' ability to achieve productivity, efficiency and accuracy of all processes among inbound clerks.
Implement safety procedures and standards in the warehouse
Required Qualifications
Bachelors. Degree (Business Administration, Logistics- supply chain,) or a good degree
A certification in project management will be an added advantage
Advanced Excel skills
Relevant Experience
Minimum of 3 years FMCG, or warehouse management experience
Ability to communicate in flawless English, French, and/or Arabic (depending on base location)
Demonstrated competency in data reporting and analysis
Experience in organizing and managing large shipments
