Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end receiving and dispatch of packages between LMH and the network, ensuring timely and accurate service.  
  • Ensure dispatchers meet LMH appointment expectations and fulfill all scheduled commitments.   
  • Effectively manage delivery associates, optimizing their performance and productivity.
  • Plan and allocate dispatch routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times.
  • Develop and execute cost-effective operational strategies to control expenses.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of operational excellence, ensuring a consistently positive experience at every touchpoint.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations, with a strong focus on sorting and distribution hubs.
  • Proven success in optimizing hub operations, reducing costs, and improving throughput and accuracy is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of sorting hub operations, supply chain management, and industry trends. 
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Core Competencies:
  • Operational Expertise: Strong operational knowledge in sorting hub management, including automation, material handling, workflow optimization, and throughput management.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large teams within a high-volume sorting environment. 
  • Capable of driving team performance and maintaining high morale.
  • Analytical: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed decisions to improve hub efficiency.
  • Communication: Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and sustain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using Hub Management Tools (HMT)and other relevant software tools for data analysis and operational management.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic sorting hub environment.
  • Flexibility to manage operations during peak periods, including the willingness to work irregular hours as needed.
