What you will be doing

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve fulfillment performance metrics, including order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
  • Analyze fulfillment data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans and initiatives to address performance gaps and drive operational excellence.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for fulfillment operations, including order processing times, pick rates, pack rates, and shipping accuracy, and take proactive measures to address issues and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, and IT, to align performance improvement initiatives with overall business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance fulfillment processes, systems, and technologies, leveraging automation, data analytics, and best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement training programs and initiatives to build capability and enhance the skills of fulfillment teams, including supervisors, operators, and support staff, to improve performance and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the fulfillment organization, promoting employee engagement, empowerment, and accountability for results.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, external vendors, and partners, to drive collaboration and alignment in achieving fulfillment performance goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates on fulfillment performance to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in fulfillment operations, supply chain management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving operational performance improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of fulfillment processes, systems, and best practices, with experience in e-commerce, retail, or logistics industries preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify root causes of performance issues, and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience with performance management tools, systems, and methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Total Quality Management (TQM), is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities as needed.
