What you will be doing:

  • Lead and supervise a team of security personnel, including security guards, officers, and contractors, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and deployed to meet security objectives.
  • Develop and implement security procedures and protocols to protect supply chain assets, including warehouses, distribution centers, and transportation networks.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of supply chain facilities to monitor for security breaches, unauthorized access, and suspicious activities.
  • Monitor security systems and technologies, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems, to identify and respond to security threats in real-time.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies within the supply chain, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents, breaches, and thefts, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing incident reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Logistics, and Human Resources, to address security concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide security awareness training and guidance to supply chain personnel, educating them on security best practices, emergency procedures, and incident reporting protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, activities, and personnel assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of emergency response and crisis management plans for supply chain facilities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates on supply chain security to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
