Client Infrastructure Engineer

Kambi is looking for an experienced Microsoft Client infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft infrastructure. You will oversee the health and performance of existing infrastructure and plan for the deployment of new solutions and services required by the organization. Close collaboration with the team and company stakeholders is a requirement as is adhering to Microsoft best practice.

 

The Team

The Windows Infrastructure Team is responsible for all Microsoft infrastructure at Kambi. The team is based in Stockholm however our infrastructure is spread out over seven sites/offices worldwide. All servers run Windows Server however the client environment consists of Macs, Linux and Windows 10. You will be working with the latest Microsoft technology whilst developing and maintaining our Windows Infrastructure. Most of this work will be within your own area of expertise, but it also involves working on the general infrastructure and advising support staff within the team when needed.

  • Have relevant Microsoft certifications with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.

You should have experience in the following:

  • Leading the development and deployment of solutions across various cloud platforms.
  • Advising on design documents, implementation plans, and quality checklists for complex projects.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to network, server, storage, security, and performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Extensive experience with Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Manager.
  • Automating and optimizing processes and workflows using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to support engineer as needed.
  • Experience with Operations Manager, Data Protection Manager or Veeam is not required but beneficial.
  • It is a plus if you are specialized in any of these areas.
