The team

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for sports and excellent supervisory skills to join our team as a Trading Escalation. This role is integral to maintaining the quality of Kambi products and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Job Description:
As a Trading Escalation Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day trading operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising People: Managing and educating team members enthusiastically to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Real-Time Support: Ensuring the smooth running of operations by providing real-time support to various departments.
  • Platform Monitoring: Monitoring Kambi and external platforms and using them effectively to provide high-quality products to our customers.
  • Coordination: Coordinating with different departments to address inquiries and concerns related to the sports analysis platform.
  • Procedures and Routines: Managing and educating team members on procedures and routines.
  • Sport Analysis: Following worldwide sporting events and analyzing patterns and operational issues in each sport.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of the team by devising routines and tasks that enhance overall performance.
  • Point of Contact: Becoming a point person for issues escalated within the Escalations and Quality Assurance Team. Attending to all sports analysis platform-related inquiries and performing quality checks for various team routines once capable.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience: experience in the industry would be appreciated.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong command of English and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Decision Making: The ability to make decisions within given timeframes.
  • Pressure Handling: Capability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Proactive and Responsive: A proactive and responsive approach to challenges and tasks.
  • Detail-Oriented: Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using computer operations, including internet and commonly used software applications.

Nice to haves:

  • Sports Knowledge: Familiarity with worldwide sports is an advantage.
  • Supervisory Experience: Experience in a supervisory role is an advantage.

If you are currently living in another city and you decide to relocate to Bucharest, Kambi is offering a generous relocation package. If you are commuting from another city outside Bucharest-Ilfov, we are providing transport expenses up to a certain limit.

Initially, this job requires working from our office in Bucharest. After a period of learning and accommodation, this will develop into a hybrid system, with a minimum of 2 days worked form the office and a maximum of 3 days worked from home.

What else you need to know about this role:

  • Due to all-year-round calendar sports events, this team is working 40 hours/week, generally from Monday to Sunday. The two rest days fall anytime within the week – you will have 2 rest days per month falling in the actual weekend days, while the other rest days will fall within Monday to Friday.
  • We can usually accommodate some of the shifts and rest days based on the employee's preference, however there are exceptional cases in which the calendar sport doesn't allow it.
  • Availability for work during Public Holidays is requested and remunerated with double pay-out.
