As our new Senior Security Analyst (EMV), you will:
- Architect security and cryptographic solutions for EMV transaction processing and design new features according to business need.
- Examine, analyze and design key management and cryptographic solutions, either new or as enhancements, across the kevin. systems.
- Define security related technical specifications, requirements documentation and implementation guides.
- Prepare security specifications for external auditors and assessors.
- See projects through from inception up to support of their implementation including security related migrations.
- Collaborate on a day to day basis with other internal security related teams, architecture, product or engineering, in order to support the delivery of security and cryptographic enhancements.
- Contribute as a security and cryptography SME (Subject Matter Expert) in client workshops, audits and external parties due diligence activities.
- Be part of the forefront of solution definitions at kevin. as we define new and innovative approaches for the payments domain.
- Bring your knowledge and skills to work collaboratively with other functional experts and teams to deliver as the kevin. team.
What you need to be successful:
- Proven experience in security and cryptographic solution designs and analysis of 5+ years.
- Deep knowledge of symmetric, asymmetric cryptography (including ECC, ECDH) alongside PKI.
- Experience working with EMV related cryptography and mobile payments technologies including NFC for cloud based payments or secure elements.
- Experience working with standards relating to security such as NIST, ISO 27001 and PCI.
- Prior participation in Acceptance domain security approvals and mobile payment security evaluations.
- Strong understanding of communication and network related security such as mTLS, WAF, etc.
- Experience with building detailed security related solutions – including cryptographic data architecture diagrams, algorithm selection, secure cryptographic devices, etc.
- Ability to write external facing security and cryptography related documentation that describes solutions at a high level, at the detailed architectural level and the algorithmic level.
- Fluent in conversational and written English.
- Ability to structure, manage and solve complex topics with multiple stakeholders.
- A desire to innovate in the payment space and evolve beyond the traditional card payment boundaries.
