We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Manager to join our dynamic Finance Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and oversee the implementation of Workday as an ERP system for all operational departments, including Accounting, FP&A and People Operations. Additionally, the Senior Business Systems Manager will be responsible for building out a robust order-to-cash toolstack with connections into Workday, as well as build integrations to other business tools. In this role you will be able to unleash your creativity and architect Klang’s future financial systems infrastructure. This is an absolute greenfield environment with plenty of room for professional growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ERP implementations, project management, and system integrations, as well as a deep understanding of business processes in Accounting, People Operations and FP&A.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Workday as an ERP system across all Klang entities and for all operational departments, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines and scope.
- Lead future financial and business system rollouts at Klang globally, including building out an order to cash toolstack and building integrations into the ERP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Legal and IT, to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design scalable solutions.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of the Workday system to meet the organization's specific needs, ensuring data integrity and system stability.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate testing efforts, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data migration/validation.
- Provide guidance and support to end-users during the implementation process, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and implement data integration strategies to connect Workday with the order-to-cash toolstack and a data warehouse in the future, ensuring accurate and timely data flow.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to manage system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities, ensuring system stability and security.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in ERP systems and business process management, proactively identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance and Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or as a consultant, and a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing cloud ERP systems. Experience with Workday is a big plus.
- Strong technical background in building system integrations, data migration, and validation.
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting, FP&A and People Operations processes.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Relevant certifications in Workday, project management, ERP systems, or related fields are desirable.
- Knowledge of tech, gaming business models and web3 spaces would be a plus
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- You have a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
- You have a flexible, open personality, and you are a strong team player.
