Your New Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior User Researcher to lead the user research efforts in a new tribe of the product team. Reporting to the User Research Manager, and working directly with the design, product, content, and data teams, you’ll be responsible for the generative and evaluation research within the tribe, bringing relevant and in-time information for the product team to be able to make decisions for the long-term and short-term roadmaps of the product. As a company that is growing and products still in the definition stage, you will need to be comfortable with uncertainty and deal with complex scenarios. You will triangulate qualitative data with quantitative data, together with our data scientists in order to define and test hypotheses, uncover opportunities and improve our products. 

As our mission is focused on mental health, we want you to be highly empathetic and sensitive to different users’ and stakeholders’ limitations and needs. The aim of our research is to improve our products and services, define and validate or invalidate business hypotheses, inform strategy and create an amazing experience for our different users while holding ourselves and the team accountable for keeping the best interest of our users in mind.

  • Leading the User Research initiatives within the new tribe of the product team
  • Being an active member of the User Research team by mentoring junior members, advocating for user research around the company, and sharing your expertise
  • Building the roadmaps of User Research within the tribe, in line with the User Research team’s way of working, and coordinating with Product Managers and Designers
  • Conducting both generative and evaluative research for our products, helping define company strategy
  • Liaising closely with the data team to triangulate quantitative and qualitative data to connect the what and the why of user behavior, before and after studies
  • Documenting the whole user research process as a key part of the work
  • Helping our product managers and other stakeholders understand and prioritize product features within development roadmaps, by bringing the right information at the right time.


About You

  • Proven previous experience conducting hands-on user research experience, in multidisciplinary environments within product-led organizations 
  • Highly experienced working directly with a product team, product management processes and negotiations with different stakeholders
  • Passionate about robust, in-depth research but you also appreciate the benefits of a lean ‘just enough research’ approach
  • Proven ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations and next steps
  • Feel comfortable in uncertainty and have the ability to plan and deliver efficient results in complex environments
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment without sacrificing attention to detail or a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and near-native or native level English

Desirable skills

  • Experience working on product definition from scratch
  • Experience in digital health or similar
  • Interest in ethics, especially in the realm of patient experience and healthcare
  • Experience with data analytics (e.g. Mixpanel or Amplitude)
