Lightspin is looking for an experienced, tenacious, highly motivated, data-driven growth marketing expert to join our team! The Director, Demand Generation will own the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of effective, segmented, and targeted multi-channel lead generation campaigns working closely with the VP Marketing.

This role is part of the marketing organization and pivotal to building awareness and delivering top-of-funnel leads. You will develop multi-touch campaigns that utilize relevant channels to engage with and nurture conversations with target accounts; working closely with SDR and sales teams to ensure successful follow-up and conversion that supports revenue targets for new client acquisition. Identifying and nurturing buyer intent will be an important part of your responsibilities. You will partner with the sales team to develop campaign plans for target segments and build effective content streams and talk tracks for each stage of the buying journey.

You will be measured on OKRs associated with generating awareness, prospect engagement and qualified leads delivered, with an eye on healthy conversion rates to new wins. You will report to the NA-based VP Marketing and be part of a multicultural global team. Candidates based in New York are preferred.

What you’ll do

  • Create, plan and execute integrated multi-channel campaign plans (that may include digital, social media, email, webinars, website updates, and sales and partner enablement), designed to support Lightspin’s OKRs and ROI including new customer wins, revenue growth targets, and strategic priorities
  • Setting targets against campaign activity and ensuring these are hit (such as # Marketing Qualified Leads / Meetings / Opportunities / Sales)
  • Analyze and report on campaign success. Implement A/B test plans, measure results and optimize campaigns, and nurture workflows to maximize conversion rates
  • Translate prospect engagement data from digital channels into commercial insight for the SDR and sales teams; and to inform future campaign programming
  • Develop focused plans for target segments and accounts, collaborating closely with SDRs and Sales to engage, nurture and covert
  • Profile and understand the customers and prospects Lightspin targets across the NA and EMEA markets, with the ability to apply that knowledge to tailor content for targeted pipeline building programs
  • Liaise with Product Marketing and SMEs to develop and curate content that will engage decision-makers and key influencers to expand awareness of Lightspin’s key differentiators
  • Plan and execute an events strategy (virtual and physical) to raise awareness of Lightspin’s solutions and generate qualified leads
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to establish and forecast important growth metrics and provide data and ongoing insight into target accounts

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a lead generation focused marketing role
  • A marketing degree and/or CIM qualification preferred
  • Proven expertise in delivering successful multi-channel campaigns in a corporate or agency environment focusing on Cloud or SaaS technologies
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry preferred
  • Experience supporting international sales teams
  • Experience in team management
  • A data driven approach is a must; experience with segmentation and targeting; and experience with tools such as Hubspot and Salesforce for reporting and analyzing campaign success
  • Strong digital and content marketing expertise
  • Ability to build proactive cross-functional relationships; manage stakeholders and strong project management skills
  • Experience with successful inbound marketing operations and product led growth marketing funnels
  • Experience with webinar and event platforms
