RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial Policy and Programs:
- Develop, align and implement trade policies and programs to optimize sales (sell-in and sellout) and profitability
- Review, track and measure success of the Sales Policies and programs that are deployed to the BUs
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure that our trade policies and programs stay relevant and deliver the required ROI for the company
Pricing Program:
- Develop the Pricing strategy and overall program
- Develop pricing data collection mechanism
- Develop Price Tracker Reports for key stakeholders
- Establish Product Pricing on monthly basis
- Prepare Product Price List for entire EBC and share with all key stakeholders
- Prepare Customer Price List templates for Sales teams to utilise for their weekly sell-in plans
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to establish pricing for new products and promotions
Trade Marketing:
- Develop and execute trade marketing plans to drive product awareness, demand, and sales within the B2B channel
- Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted marketing materials, promotions, and incentives for distributors, installers, and other trade partners
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for business growth
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align commercial policies with overall business objectives
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team on pricing negotiations and contract terms
Stakeholder Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and industry partners
- Represent the company in industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility, market influence and the automation of pricing processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in business, finance or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing or business performance preferably in the renewable energy industry but not limited to
- Deep knowledge of pricing structures, frameworks, and global governance, along with extensive experience in deploying and improving pricing structures and commercial policies in the context of local business responsibilities.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to provide insightful analysis on pricing and performance improvement
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels within the organisation
- Demonstrated expertise in project execution within complex program structures involving multiple stakeholders in a market-oriented decentralized setting
- Business proficiency in English and Mandarin
