What you will do:

  • Prepare weekly cash reporting and forecasting whilst monitoring and analyzing the company’s daily cash position to cover cash commitments each week
  • Lead and manage bank account openings/closures/user changes
  • Maintain strong communications and relationships with banks and other financial service providers
  • Help establish and maintain internal treasury policies and controls
  • Develop and support initiatives to optimize banking infrastructure and cash management process
  • Coordinate intergroup transfer and, account funding for the weekly payment run whilst ensuring they’re in line with intercompany recharge policies
  • Support the month-end close process and reporting for the group. Preparation of calculations, schedules, reconciliations, and journals to facilitate monthly reporting within the agreed timeframes.
  • Key contributor to the audit process. Working closely with external auditors to ensure that audit queries are answered in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Pro-actively build relationships between departments within Lottoland by supporting ad-hoc projects, specific financial information requests and any other finance related assistance that may be requested by internal stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • Someone with relevant cash management / treasury experience (ideally part-qualified accountant)
  • Strong technical accounting abilities and sound working knowledge of current IFRSs
  • Analytical mind, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to plan workload, having a pragmatic approach.
  • Part qualified accountant (preferably ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
