What you'll do
You will be the driving force behind fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth within our organization. As a critical member of our HR team, you will not only play a pivotal role in shaping our talent strategies but will also act as a proactive consultant, advocate, and change agent for both employees and leadership. - Support the full life-cycle of HR, including onboarding, benefit administration, and departure
- Manage a variety of efforts, which include support with HR initiatives, ongoing projects, and coordinating the benefits administration process
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements

Facilitates training sessions with managers such as performance management, calibration sessions, change management, spotting talent;
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws and update policies and procedures when necessary
- Play a front-line role in answering HR questions, escalating issues as needed, completing regular audits and analyses, and acting as a trusted source of information
- Provide HR guidance to team members and managers, setting high expectations of behavior and performance
- Partner with line managers to provide employee relations advice on global policies and procedures
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing employee changes, joiners, and leavers
- Apply critical thinking to automate and reduce administrative tasks
- Produce data-driven reports to inform and influence HR initiatives
- Lead and participate in projects where you'll see the impact of your work
- Support internal resource groups to drive initiatives such as diversity and inclusion
- Create, update, and maintain country-specific handbooks and corporate policies
- Ensure consistency of application of our HR policies and procedures
About You
Although we are looking for a passionate, purpose-driven individual rather than a 100% match of the job description, this role has a few essential things.
- You have 3-4 years experience as HR Generalist - agency or corporate, as well as a demonstrated interest in recruiting, technology, and innovation.
- Knowledge in Canadian employment laws , specifically in Quebec
- Comfort in working independently
- You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a natural ability to build trusting relationships.
- You are bilingual, English & French-speaking, and written (your prospects and hiring managers are not always bilingual).
- You are organized with an eye for detail - this role requires a lot of follow-ups and managing competing priorities.
- You have what is called the "growth mindset," you are not afraid to be challenged and to challenge others
- You are enthusiastic, passionate, and have a great sense of humour.
- Experience in developing and executing employer branding-related projects is a plus
